My guess is that it might be Giuliani/Hutchison vs. Clinton/Easley in November of 08.

I have no idea who the Republican candidate will be. Most people pollin as "Rudy" are responding to name recognition at this point. Romney is surging but I don't know about Thompson yet.
Clinton has a difficult time selecting a VP. First off, Obama may well help get her elected but would be very troublesome as an actual VP. She could easily marginalize a white male but forcing Obama to do her bidding is something else again.
She definately needs help securing the South but she could pull the same thing as Bush who was originally thought to lack gravitas. He selected Cheney, an old school well seasoned politician. Maybe she will use Bill Richardson to add weight to her ticket.
