Or, do you tell all of your grandchildren that they are your favorites?

Well yeah but I'd never admit it to any of them. Most of the time it is the one who needs me the most at the time. The other times it is the first born or the one named after me or the last born or the first born boy or the last born boy...get my drift.

I dont use the word favorite. I dont think it's a good idea to tell your children or your grandchildren they're your favorite. That's a total set-up. I will admit to favoring one grand-daughter mostly because I spent the first 6 weeks of her life at her side because she had an undeveloped espophagus.
This created a bond that still holds. She'll be 16 in September and she is still the love of my life. Dont tell the other kids please.

Of course I do. But I have only 1 grandchild so the choice is not difficult. When my only nephew was young I would tell him he was my favorite nephew and watch him beam. It took him until his teen years to realize he was the only nephew.

This is what I do when they are all together. I will whisper in each one's ear, "Don't tell anybody, but you are my favorite." Then go to the next one, and say the same thing. It really makes them laugh.

I guess I really don't have a favorite but I think the youngest usually get more attention.

That's easy...I have one grandchild, and therefore a favorite. But I will be you that everyone has a favorite, if they really were to come clean here.

We have nine so we can't really have a favorite. But truth be told, only one is here in town so we have a closer bond with her since we have her all the time. Wish it wasn't that way, but I guess that's what happens in these situations and I've finally stopped feeling guilty about it.

Each of my two granddaughters is my favorite. They are both a couple of good looking chicks just like my wife, their grandmother.
