The same thing when you think your kissing a hott girl. Did ever occur to you that just because you think there ugly doesnt make them ugly and they are attracted to each other the same way you are attracted to anyone you date.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Inner qualities count quite a bit.
I would rather be with a not-so-good looking guy than with a good-looking abusive jerk.
