Only if it has the mounts an flywheel for ele start.There is no charging coil on his Eng for battery charging?See if he can find a host Eng swap the parts he needs???

Yes it can be but you need compatable flywheel, starter electrical components to hook up charge system, battery cables start button etc. but if you have the extra money to spend it is nice to have.

Yes it can, my friend had one on his sail boat, it did not charge the battery though, he used the "trim" botton on the throttle box as the start button instead of a keyed ignition.
