I baby sit a very talented 12yr old girl, She is writing a novel about her life...Would you buy it? It is about her opinions on things..her life....etc.
I read the first couple chapters and they were GREAT! :D
But that's in my Opinion.....its about her parents divorce right before christmas...and how she handles it.
I think it is pretty good.
She writes about what she thinks about in life at her age.
She said to me that she wants to try try try to get it published...she said people would think it was ridiculous for a 12yr old girl to be writing a novel, but she is smarter thatn your average 12 yr old and would just want to try..
Would YOU buy it?
Thank you for answering :D
[I know not many people are gonna probably anwer this but it'd be great! ;D]

I think it would be better is she sent her story or book to Yahoo. No joke. Once she's done she should send it to them so it can be on the front page. She'll get a lot of attention and then you can see were it will go from there. Much better shot this way.

If it was distributed in such a way that I could look at it and decide whether or not I am interested before I buy, and sold at a reasonable price, I probably would. The very fact that she is willing to put in the amount of work it takes to write an entire novel needs to be taken seriously. Maybe it will not be published until after a few of her adult works are, but she should definitely hold onto it, not let it get away from her.

I had a book of poetry published when I was young, and now I do not have a single copy! I know it was corny and not that good, but one or two poems were good, and I wish I still had it. But a whole novel! That's a lot of work.

There are young publishers and they do a wonderful job. What you need to to is to assist her in sending it out to publishers along with a letter telling them her bio and what it is that she is wanting to gain by publishing and selling her life story.

There are large and watch out for some of the small publishers that they don't take advantage but age does not make a difference as much as you think - we can learn from babes.

Yes, I would buy it and there would be other teens and parents out there that need to here it they can see themselves in her story and through her eyes.

Take out some library books or go on the internet to see how you go about getting published.

The world from the perspective of a 12 yr old isn't really my cup of tea.

Unless it were humorous our something...then maybe.

I wouldnt. Firstly, i not really into reading.
Secondly, who is she? People buy stuff that's popular. No one has ever heard of this girl.

no i won't buy your book.i think you are the writer not a twelve year old.it may appeal to another teen but it wouldn't hold my interest.there aren't too many things a twelve year old can teach me about life.
