Some of my biggest ones are still green while ones that started growing later were already picked and eaten. a couple were on there for weeks and rotted away without even starting to turn yellow!

We had the exact same problem with our spaghetti squash. We picked a green one and cut it open. To our surprise . . . some of the spaghetti squash had cross pollinated with our zucchini. I guess they were still edible . . . but we didn't try eating them. Just yesterday we picked a zucchini that looked like a squash inside !!! I almost guarantee that's what happened with yours. Have fun and happy gardening !!!

Yes. All spaghetti squash should be yellow. This also happens with other vegetable that have seeds, like cucumbers and melons. As you know they are tempermental plants and like just the right amount of sum and water. It really is pretty hot for plants to mature now.

From what I know, It is always yellow, like at the grocery store.
I thinkk that if it isn't than there might be something wrong with it??
