Well... no, I had actually never thought of it that way. But now that you mention it, I guess it is judging. Judging in its worse form because we are judging someone we don't know at all based on what we see. Which usually is way off base. Some of my best friends that I have ever had, I have disliked on first impression. I guess the old saying is true, you can't judge a book by it's cover.

Never ever make that mistake in ur life.First impression is just a first impression and its always a first impression.Its a curtain.You have to remove the curtain and see what`s behind.It might be a beautiful this or it also might be a mess behing there.Even a serial killer looks decent.But u have to explore before u judge `em.

its not always the case.
i don't believe in the saying -- 'first impression is the last impression.'
when u spend more nd more time with a person u get to know him/her better.
a person who seems to b very gentle, and very good at first sight may b just a phony.
or may b the person who doesn't seem to b so good may have a beautiful soul.
so, u never know.
first impression is just first impression, it might b what other gotta show u, but it can never b judging.

I think the person needs to be themselves and you can determine if you would associate with them from that first impression. But it is wrong to judge, even your enemies. I say be nice to everyone as much as you can and if they are mean then eventually that will break their spirit and they will give up. We all judge somewhat its human nature. But its up to you how people percieve you!

I don't know what others do, but the only judgment I need to make is if the person I am meeting is healthy or unhealthy for me to associate with. I believe this is the only kind of judging we should be doing with one another.

it kinda is judging but it's not like you're sitting there picking at the person. it's just the first few things that pop into your head about the person. Everyone does it...

Unfortunately, yes. I can usually get over it but it's not pleasant what I do at first. At least I am able to not act on it!

nah, i think of it more as an observation. i keep an open mind even after an impression is made.
