I am 14, and I always do professional manicures for myself. I always buy regular sized nail polish bottles, and last night while I was stocking my supply at Sally's, I noticed that they had small bottles of the same colors for only $.99 each. I decided to try them out. They were buy 5 get one free so i decided to get 6 of them. This morning I used one of them, and i noticed that they did not work well at all. it was like they were already old and gooey. Has anyone else ever tried these small bottles (i got the ones made by Sally Girl) and if so, have you had the same experience?!? Thanks a bunch!!

Do not use nail polish remover to thin out the goopy polish. It will make it flake off easily after application.

You can try nail polish thinner - it's specifically designed to refresh old polish w/o interfering w/ its ability to stick.

Save time & money - go back to the store w/ the products & receipt for a refund.

i have bought the small ones the few times without problems, but they do go bad faster then bigger bottles, so if they r on sale, it might be becuase that batch has gone bad. just check next time by shaking the bottle and seeing if the polish looks lumpy, most of the time u will probably be good to go as long as u check

I don't know, but i heard if you add a drop of nail polish remover to a bottle of nail polish that is kind of clumpy and you shake it, it's supposed to get rid of the gooiness.

I have bought these befor also, and had the same problem. I got in touch with the company, and they said that because they are smaller amounts, they can be affected by temp. changes...so your bottles prob. were allowed to bake in the sun and then put into ac or something, and it ruins the polish...

this has happened to me before, I know it sounds super dumb, but put nail polish remover,( just a little, a few drops) in the bottle and shake it, it will work and you can use them for as long as you want!
