How in the world is it that people are seen as champions of the environment and heroes to the world when they espouse their views about man's involvement in Global Warming. . . . . . . . YET , . . . Those who warn about the threats and dangers of Radical Islamists are seen as 'fear-mongers' ? . . . . . . Especially when we have countless examples of what the Radical Islamists have already done. . . . AND. . . . . Countless clips from their own mouths of what they plan on doing next ?

No matter what you believe about man's involvement in Global Warming . . . . it's still debatable .
Yet there is no doubt whatsoever about what Radical Islamists have in mind for the world . . . . it's not debatable. . . there is no question. . . . . . they have told us many times from their mouths. .. not a theory from the mouths of scientists .

Double Standard ?

Great Point. Is it a double standard yes. Will Big Al Gore ever admit to it NO. I think that those people who choose to stick there heads in the sand to the reality of Radical Islam being a plague, have come up with the theory of global warming because their butts are getting a sunburn.

I warn about the threat from both of these forces. Global warming will likely put Texas and Florida underwater in 25 years, if the world were to last that long. However, Islam will put the earth "underwater" in 10 years if not kept in check. The time is now to end political correctness and start stating the truth of Islam, which is hidden in the passages of their "Little Book".

You're flogging an expired palfrey.
My only conclusion is modern liberalism is suicidal; the decade of the '90s until the present day have not only chronicled the diatribes, pronouncements and proclamations of such murderous luminaries as: OBL, Zawahiri, Zarqawi, Ahmadenijad and host of other participants, but have also witnessed several attacks by these agents of radical Islam.

One would think these acts should be enough evidence.

Apparently not.

They'd rather listen to a profiteer who has ginned up some ponzi scheme.

As I said: suicidal

Doc, I'll tell you this...never in history has there ever been a leader of a nation make specific threats towards another nation, and not followed through, or at least attempted to follow through with their wishes. Scientists can prove the threat of a leader in Iran, they cannot prove Global Warming however.

Earnest only someone in a coma would not realize the threat that radical Islam poses to the entire world.

As for global warming? my opinion, irreversibly damaged.

Absolutely. Spreading fear about the theory on the environment is still spreading fear...calling someone else a fear monger when they warn of something based in fact is most certainly a double standard and hypocritical.

You're actually giving AGW too much credit. Theory from the mouths of some scientists (if you disagree you're shunned) and portrayed by lifelong, career anti-energy, anti-industry and anti-modern-lifestyle activists to be "undebatable" despite the absence of tangible evidence....

Double standard indeed.

Fear has long been used a political tactic. Communist witch hunts, Southeast Asia domino theory, global cooling, acid rain, the Iron Curtain, War on Drugs, strategic oil protection, terrorism and global warming. Fear is used to take power away from the people without upsetting the apathetic population.
1. Allowed gov to monitor private citizens
2. & 5. Allowed gov to creat huge military contracts
3.& 4. Allowed gov to collect taxes from business
6. Allow DEA to entrap people and CIA to make profits to fund black ops.
7. &8. Military contracts and domestic spying
9. Allow gov to collect more taxes and payback political supporters.

Saddly until We wake up they will use fear to build their power.

1. I don't like you referring to someone like me as an "enthusiast" of global warming. It is nothing to be "enthused" about.
2. Terrorism and global warming are two completely different issues.
3. Terrorism is a real threat, but I'm not going to put my head in the sand about global warming. The two can co-exist.
