Yup. Tigers. I have that same Free Press. Actually several of them from then. In one they had a full page drawing of a Tiger with it's mouth in a big roar and in it's mouth was an itty bitty Cardinal. Really cool.

My 3-year-old heart is still crushed that Gibson lost that Game 7 :(
Of course, the pain somewhat went away when it was replaced by Don F'ing Dienkenger in 1985! LOL

Detroit!! I actually have the Detroit Free Press from when they won it. I got it signed by Lolich about ten years ago. I found it in a trunk in my grandfathers basement.
