Obviously the word treason no longer exists today. Look at what Cindy Sheehan got away with, look at what Michael Moore gets away with, look at what Jimmy Carter gets away with. All these celebrities like Sean Penn for example going to Iran talking to that dictator who says openly death to the west and death to the Jews. Look at what some Presidents gotten away with! And I am not talking about Bush either, he did no wrong. Mistakes? Yes. Weird decision and hesitant? Yes. But he did nothing illegal.

Clinton should be tried for treason along with George Tennent, Janet Reno. Clinton allowed this country to be attacked many times during his Presidency. 1993 WTC Bombing, U.S. Embassy bombings of Kenya and Tanzania, Khobar Towers, and the USS Cole. Only thing he said about them was do not overreact the terrorist just looking for attention. He had a chance to catch Bin Laden, an already known threat at the time towards America, but he said it is not a high priority and we don't need to worry about it. Janet Reno killed men, women and children at Waco. Tennent covered up a lot regarding national security, attacks and other information he shredded and got away with murder.

So obviously, the word TREASON no longer applies anymore. It is but a thing of the past.

Why on earth would they be tried for treason? There is no treason here. Your "unbiased" source, the propaganda wing of the Administration, seems to get a bit carried away with their assessment of things. When are we going to hear a definition of WIN? People keep saying we are winning. Is winning a secret? Why won't they define it in terms of Iraq? How will we know we have won? Not once, although I continually ask and ask, and ask this question over and over again no one seems to be able or willing to answer a simple question of how willl we know we have won? If that could be deifined for the Democrats on Capitol Hill maybe they would understand and see what you also see. Unfortunately only a few people really see the so called winning in Iraq. Most people see blood shed, more and more American blood being shed for another country in THEIR civil war.

The Congress has one Agenda through 2008.That Agenda is to make sure America Loses the War in Iraq.If by some chance Republicans take back the House and Senate and keep the White House then you will see Treason Charges filed on some in the House and Senate. So Pray hard that The war in Iraq is and will be a Success as this Success will Destroy the Party of the Democrat!!!

The line between treason and free speech is pathetically close. Its sad really. I don't care to see them tried for treason, but I would like to see them properly chastised by the mainstream media for their beliefs. I don't see a link to that story on Yahoo News, nor on CNN, nor on ABC, CBS, NBC.

oh honey you are so confused.

First: Using FoxNews as your source immediately removes any credibility you may have started with. FoxNews is nothing but radical right-wing propaganda, and it is designed for people with very narrow minds and low IQs.

Second: Please explain to me how you think we are WINNING the war in iraq? Any fool (except apparently your pathetic excuse for a president) can see that this is a pointless, reckless, illegal and never-ending war, and that it needs an exit strategy.

If anyone should be tried for treason, it is George Bush and everyone who contributed to this war. George Bush is responsible for making the entire world despise the USA - he's an embarrassment to our country.

From your article:
"In the U.S., Republican lawmakers are also being pressured — to continue their support for Bush's strategy. Freedom's Watch, a new group whose leadership includes former Bush spokesman Ari Fleischer, has launched a five-week, $15 million ad campaign targeting Republicans who have softened their support for the war."

Why do republicans have to pressure each other to stick with the "we are winning" story?
