Yes. But I usually ask anyway, to get fresh answers from people on here now. There are at least a few new answers that are different.
If I wanted to simply look up answers, I would use a source different than this one. I like Y!A because of the give and take on here.
Merely looking up the answers takes all the fun out of it, and probably does rob me of one or two unique answers.

I usually check and if a question already exists, then I change the wording or ask a different question.

yeah. I usually don't ask if someone else has. But sometimes my details are a little different, so I just want to hear fresh answers meant for MY question. =-)
