Ebay's not really the best indicator...

Your best bet would be to take your coins to a local coin dealer. They will be able to tell you so much more by evaluation the condition of the coin. They will also know the amount minted and what it is going for in today's market.

Try posting pictures on this website (there are many coin experts here that can help you evaluate it - there also may be people willing to buy if you are trying to sell):

You have KM# 2923 it is made of .640 silver and has an actual silver weight of .4942 oz. Being found in the yard makes the coin non mint state, for the elements must have done some damage. In mint state it sells for $8-$10 . Dealers of course pay a lot less. The coin celebrates the 150th anniversary of the birth of Johann Strauss. It is the first of the 100 Schilling commemorative's Austria put out over the years. I have to admit you did make a very strange find. Wonder how it got there?

Ebay.co.uk has one for sale for about 7 Euros, which is close to $9 (give or take a little), with four days to go. I show the source below, so if you check that in four days you'll have a good idea of what you coin is worth.
