I'd say 1%, the other 99% regardless of what form it takes is utter dreck.
I know this wasn't what you were looking for as an answer, but there are whole societies that will tell you haiku or formal verse are the best. There are disciples of all kinds of poetry, just like religion, and if you ask which is best in either, you get the opinions of dogma and zealotry.
I prefer quality over form.

I don't know the exact name of it except NORMAL, meaning it has a good rhythm in the lines (IE roughly same number of syllables) And guess what else I think!!!!Yes it should rhyme, as far as I am concerned if it doesn't rhyme in ain't a poem, it would be prose.
Here's one such example:
THE READING MOTHER
Strickland Gillilan
I HAD A MOTHER who read to me
Sagas of pirates who scoured the sea,
Cutlasses clenched in their yellow teeth,
"Blackbirds" stowed in the hold beneath
I had a Mother who read me lays
Of ancient and gallant and golden days;
Stories of Marmion and Ivanhoe,
Which every boy has a right to know.
I had a Mother who read me tales
Of Celert the hound of the hills of Wales,
True to his trust till his tragic death,
Faithfulness blent with his final breath.
I had a Mother who read me the things
That wholesome life to the boy heart brings-
Stories that stir with an upward touch,
Oh, that each mother of boys were such.
You may have tangible wealth untold;
Caskets of jewels and coffers of gold.
Richer than I you can never be --
I had a Mother who read to me.
The preceding is an example of best type of poem

A poem's structure doesn't bother me as much as insincere or overly sentimental content. In XJ Kennedy's "An Introdction to Poetry" someone is quoted as saying "I dislike equally poems that either black your eyes or turn up their mouths to be kissed." I feel that way too.
But I like Shakespeare's sonnets, so maybe I'll go with iambic pentameter!

Tell ya what. A SanFran poet named Rod McEuen had two very special books;;;;;;;"Stanyan Street and other Sorrows" and "Listen to the Warm"
Check 'em out. I'm not big on rhyme schemes and harsh iambic pentameter. But I do like Poe's "Annabell Lee"
Ya can get rhyme schemes in "Ring Around the Rosy"

Everyone has an opinion, and I'm sure you have heard about what opinions are like, and that everyone has one and most of them smell, so here is mine..
The best poetry style is what I write, no matter what it is, except for some of the stuff I hear called free verse. My opinion of free verse is that it is simply and excuse for someone with no talent for poetry to call themselves poets.
I can take all the punctuation out of this answer, insert a load of carriage returns in unlikely places, and have it hailed as excellent free verse.
