Rob - My advice to you would be to not answer the question. Last time I looked, it was called "Answers," and I'm looking for an answer to my trivia question. Unless Yahoo has hired you to police this board, I'd say that your opinion really doesn't count.

I think 1971, with Mays, Aaron, Robinson, Killebrew and Banks

Stig got it. At the end of 1971, we had:
Mays -- 646
Aaron -- 639
Banks -- 512 (retired after the season)
Killebrew -- 515
Robinson -- 503
