Well, I am starting to get into art. I really want to work with pastels, or even paint to make sunsets, and moonlights, and nighttime skies, and all that. However, I am just a beginner, and I don't even know where to start, or what things I should buy. Help? Any tips?

I would pay for an art class first. There are too many things to list here, you need proper instruction.

Otherwise, tons and tons of paper, pastels, water colour paint, pencils, pencil crayons, paper towel (trust me on that one), a proper desk or working space, a canvas, easel...

And that's just for starters. Seriously, find an art class.

Go to an art & crafts stores & ask an employee to help you out-(Michaels or Roberts) are a couple that I go to unless there's others in your area. or start out using #2 pencils & drawing paper or copy/type paper for doodling.
