both test depend on hormones ryt? so whats the diff? others suggesting that clear blue s more accurate? y?

Simply put, there is no difference. Any home pregnancy test will be positive if your hCG level (the hormone of pregnancy) is high enough. Many home tests claim to read positive at a certain level but most are also not as sensitve as they claim. Here is a chart to show which tests claim to be positive at which levels:
