Junk drawers are really fun. They are catch-alls for the strange odds and ends in life. You might find rubber bands, nail files, postage stamps, a screw driver from the last time you fixed something and didn't put it back, you might find a stray pony tail holder or an appointment card for the dentist from two years ago. There might be "dead" ink pens- Why are they in there? Who knows. You might find a suction cup for the sun-catcher that broke last year and some old 2liter lids you were going to save for "points" but never really did anything with. You might even find a "free hash brown" or "sm. drink" sticker from a past fast food contest. Too bad it expired three weeks ago! That's the beauty of a "junk" drawer they are always changing.... absorbing the life of those who inhabit their environment. What's in yours? =-D

Broken scissors, paper clips that someone put all together, staples that fell out of a box, rubber bands some that are broken, scotch tape. Pens that don't write any more, pencils that don't have a point on them. Money that people throw in there. I could go on and on and on because that's what is in my junk drawer and more. Someday I will clean it out. Oh, Someday.

Mine is called the Everything Drawer and it has everything you need to do anything. It even has rulers and all pens ever made. Screwdrivers and tape. It is wonderful but it jams now.

A junk drawer is one that just has a bunch of crap thrown in it, and mine has staples, rubberbands, allen keys, envelopes, some dust.

In mine are gobs of crayons, scraps of paper, keys to things unknown, anything I might want to hide from my daughter, leftover sauce packets from restaurants.
