I used a NEW cold chisel wirh a small hammer to get off the plaster that was around the sliding glass shower doors. It worked well, and the white residue that remained after I had chipped it all off, came off cleanly with scouring powder & a wet cloth. Be sure your chisel is new or undamaged by previous use before you use it on tile, as it will scratch the surface if it is not smooth. Best of luck!
