Tito Francona?

He played in both leagues in the late 50's - 1970.

He was a 1B/OF. At 5'11", 190 I guess he would be stocky for that time. He's the father of Red Sox manager Terry Francona.

You're probably thinking of Tito Fuentes -- he's the only "Tito" in MLB in that time frame, but he was a second baseman.

Probably Tito Fuentes. Tito Landrum was good too, but played in the 80's.
