and ask everyone on here if they are cute? It's one of my pet peeves....people who fish for compliments probably need lessons in self esteem, or something....

i think I agree with you on that level...do they want you to be truthful or not, i'm wondering.
I think what is worse tho, are those with avatars asking that same question-"is my avatar cute"-its' a cartoon for crying out loud!

I totally agree. They are fishing for a compliment due to lack of self esteem. Most likely they never hear anything good about themselves and need to hear others say it. Now, there are a few that do hear it all the time, but still need to hear it a few more times from total strangers. Their problem? EGO!
