How do I found out it x+2 is a factor of
h(x)=x^5-2x^3-x^2+3x-4?

IF x+2 is a factor then plugging in -2 (that's MINUS 2) into X of the original solution should yield f(0) = 0

If it does, then it is a factor. If it doesn't, it is NOT a factor.
