Im going to take my family to angels camp for a week and am looking for ideas on fun things to do. I have 4, 6, 14, and 16 year olds.Ideas would be appreciated.

Big Trees State Park is right there. Take a lunch and do the booklet-guided walk. Also the town of Murphy is cute. And there's a swim beach on a lake nearby... can't remember the name of it... White something. It's attached to a city park.

Well you can stay at Melones dam campground.
If you are there the last week in Sept. there is always the county fair and Frog jumping jubilee, Sept.22-23., 80% of the residents will be dressed like they did in the 1860s. There are the Calaveras big trees. The children will like Calveras county caverns and moaning caves. My sons loved to go there when they were small have even taken their sons there. Thats about it. They will get to pan for gold at moaning caves.
