We've been seeing each other 9 months and to be honest I pretty much live there anyway. He works away during the week and on weekends I stay there. I also have my own key and can come and go as I please during the week. I've also stayed there on weekends when he hasn't been there. What do you reckon? Is it rushing into it? He's told me to redecorate and he'll pick up the tab so it'll be OUR house rather than just his.

Not if you ever expect to marry him

Aw that sounds really sweet. I don't think its too soon from what you've said, since you're familiar with the house and have spent significant time there with him you have a good idea of what living together is going to be like. Maybe since you've felt the need to ask about it on here you should think about it for a while, or try a trial week or 2 of living there before deciding. I found when I moved in with my boyfriend of just over a year that it went fairly well but we did have some arguments over domestic stuff like who's turn it was to do the washing up, but nothing major! Make sure you know all his bad habits like being messy etc because when you live together they can seem alot more annoying! Good luck!
(oh and don't listen to the 1st answerer, if you want a long term future with him I'd definately recommend living together at some point before any committments like marriage were made, you really do know a person so much better when you live with them!)

If you love him dearly then why not give it a try,you said you practically live there anyway. My sister knew her boyfriend for 6 months then moved in with him,5 years on and they are still happy together.

If you have any doubts, maybe you should wait a while till you feel differently.

There is no set time that you should wait,it's all down to how you both genuinly feel for eachother, and more importantly trust eachother.

You're mostly there already, what do you define as "moving in"? Its only too soon if you have doubts. If you know him really well and are sure you can live comfortably together then go for it. Just remember to protect your self financially, and keep your independance. If it does all go wrong you need to be able to set yourself up again on your own. Good luck!
