Hey all, Robo I know what you mean about the Bull fighting, but that is Spain, NOT America. This concept of allowing rooster fighting and dog fighting is WRONG! It might be OK in other countries, but not the US of A.
As for Stephon and his team, an apology is not enough. I think Stephon should offer an inspection of his property to prove he does not fight or torture animals wither.
To me, than is the important thing. Vick TORTURED animals without one tear of regret. The only reason he fessed up was he was good caught in the act.
I think as part of the recovery is for them to do actual community service, and I mean hundreds of hours, not just a slap on the wrist. Let them do it by cleaning up after the homeless animals. It's ok, the animal is taken out of the place and would never have contact with Michael and Stephon. I doubt it will happen, but it should.
As far as these Bloody B Ball shoes, Stephon might as well donate them to the animal shelter for doggie chew toys. I won't spend anything to promote these creeps.

Give it a couple of days before the NBA or whatever team the idiot plays for now to force him to issue an apology.
But the fact remains, I'm not going to give him one red cent of my money.
To be honest, I think that the people that say that are just really die hard Vick fans who don't want to see him go to prison. They are grasping at straws by comparing euthanizing horses who break a leg (which usually leads to a slow and painful death for the horse anyway) to torturing and killing dogs and finding entertainment in that particular activity.
And Robo, good point about the bullfighting, I feel that is just as barbaric as dogfighting, although at least the bull can fight back against the guy trying to kill it. However, that is a cultural argument, bullfighting is illegal in the US as far as I know. Cockfighting is legal in the Phillipenes, and that is just as wrong as dogfighting, and again, illegal in the US.

I am against hurting animals for "sport" purpose. I just don’t see how you can feel good or have fun when killing other living things. Anyway, even though I’m against hunting and dog fighting, I think that dog fighting is way worst. The differences between hunting and dog fighting are (1) Hunting is apart of our human nature since being of time, (2) In hunting the animal is kill quickly (hopefully) or finish off as soon as possible without suffering, (3) Dog fighting put 2 animals against each other to be kill brutally and if they don’t owner finish the job (They are exploding lesser intelligent animal to kill each other…so it is no different then making bums fight each other) (4) the dogs are starve and breed to be kill since they are born (what kind of life is that even if they are just animals)
P.S. Stephon Marbury is an idiot.

I believe there is a HUGE difference! Yes some animals in this country are hunted. There will always be controversy surrounding this. HOWEVER, we don't force say, deer, to fight each other to the death and then after that torture the animal by wetting it down and electrocuting it, beating it, slamming it's body into the ground over and over again, and hanging it until it was dead simply because we didn't like the way it fought. We don't eat the dogs and in most cases they aren't over populated wild animals. Hunters I know don't torture 50 plus deer and then simply bury the remains in the back yard. One of the creatures in this country that DOES seem to have an over population problem is idiots with too much money.

A lot of other people must have told him they're going to boycott his shoes also because less than 24 hours after saying that he tried to claim that it was taken out of context and he didn't think dog fighting was a sport. I think maybe him and Clinton Portis are having a contest to see who can fit the bigger foot in their mouth.

I think he has the right to voice his opinion, as do we all. Personally, I can see just about every-body's point of view on this, Killing dogs, in some peoples minds, are just like killing other animals, while others think it's different.
My only problem with this whole thing is the "Shock And Awe" of it all, everybody acts like they had no idea dog fighting was going on in this country, and has been forever. Now they hear it, and everybody is aghast.

I visited Spain this summer and they still have bullfights in which they torture the bull to death, is that OK because it is a human torturing the bull rather than another bull?
