supply & fit . board & skim by the m2 & fit only board & skim per m2 have always priced the job not done it this way .. all help and advice would be much appreciated ta

Hi Doug - How big is this job? If it's a big contract then it is usual to exclude materials, the main contractor will be able to get a better deal on the board and plaster.
If it's a small one-off then the customer is probably convinced that you will rip them off for supplying the materials (a common problem with all the 'cowboy tradesmen' stories circulated by consumer programmes).
If you are happy with the price per m2, labour only, then go for it. At least you won't have the hassle of getting the gear on the job.

drywall finishers here get $0 .38 a board ft to hang and finish. The hangers supply the drywall mud, nails and tape.

ring up a plastering contractor ..tell them you are thinking of having quite a bit of work done ..ask how much they charge ..all large contractors charge by the square metre
