On the contrary R.A. Holton, many comedians are actually very astute when off the stage. Reagan was an actor. Schwarzenegger an actor turned governor. Why not a comedian?

Anjel, you'd have to do a WHOOOOLLLLEE lot more than insult Bush, to insult me. For the record, I'm a Democrat.

this whole fiasco reminds me of the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, where the president was elected for the sole purpose of drawing attention away from the actual leaders of the universe.
i think that if we want a puppet government, who does what some high-and-mighty corporation or whatever wants, then go ahead and elect a comedian. they dont know the first thing about running a country.
at least bush thinks that whatever he thinks is right. a comedian constantly makes fun of himself and his decisions, so how can we expect him to actually be decisive on anything?

Have you seen 'Great Moments in Presidential History' on 'The Letterman Show'? They show a different clip every night. You should watch it; it's hilarious. Bush sounds like The Village Idiot compared to others who were considered great presidents.

Richard "Kinky" Friedman, a guy of that sort, ran for Gov. of Texas last year. Turned out the joke was on him. We're usually in a good mood here in Texas, but that doesn't mean we're stupid.

Uh, haven't you seen Bush speak?
Although, he's not intentionally comedic.
