Maybe you can contact a community electronics store, who knows the autistic man, and see if they'll donate some kind of flat screen TV or something else that people will enjoy. Then, sell raffle tickets. I'm sure you can go to any party store and pick up a roll of tickets, and charge maybe like $5/ticket, but $10/three tickets or something like that.

If there's no where that will donate something, then maybe you guys can stick to your bake sale idea, but instead of just brownies and cookies and cupcakes, maybe you can get some melting chocolate and some lollipop molds. Or make chocolate covered pretzels with sprinkles or other fun candies. Something a little differnt than the regular bake sale, to generate a little more interest.

Good luck! You're doing a VERY good thing.

i think that you could contact the Masons, the Salvation Army, local VFW's... for a start.

you can do your own fundraisers -- bake sales, raffles.

sometimes organizations wil help those in need, especially with disabilities. and they may also know other ways to raise money, since that is what they do!

hugs to you and your friends.
