Ovulation happens about 2 weeks before your next period. After ovulation if the sperm and egg meet it taks 6-12 days after ovulation for the fertilized egg to implant in the uterus and another 2-3 days after implantation for the embryo to start producing the pregnancy hormone, hcg. So, if your period is due sept. 5 then you likely just ovulated yesterday, only putting you 1 day past ovulation. It is way too soon to test. The earliest you could expect a positive would be 8 days past ovulation but only about 50% of pregnant women would get a positive then. For the most accurate results you will need to wait 14 days past ovulation or the day your period is due.

you asked a wk ago? that's 3 wks b/f your missed period! Do you even know if you're done ovulating?
It's too early. Even if you are, the test would more than likely say negative, b/c it's not enough hormone to detect.
Put your mind to something else and see if you even miss your period, k?
