Would you asks kids to bring their own toys to your house?
If your neices and nephews were secerely destructive with your childs things would you ask them to bring their own toys when visiting....Assuming in this situation thier parents just say..oh we will replace that...and never do...and assuming your child takes care of her toys and is very upset by the children breakign them for amusement.....this isnt something happening i'm just wondering what others would do in this situation..because I would not have any problem asking the kids to bring their own toys

i asked this in parenting with few responses..i'm wondering what people would do in general

I would ask them to bring their own, if they can't respect the toys that belong to someone else.

It would not bother me a bit to request that they bring their own toys.
Especially if they were ornery on purpose. Special keepsakes would be removed and put into My Room for safe keeping.

Put your foot down.
If the parents aren't doing their jobs in education their children about respecting other people's properties...you should give them some motivation to do so.

stomp that foot down. i had a small cousin and she always loved to play with me. when it was time to go, she would leave the house without helping clean up, and also lost and broke toys. and no one did anything...grrr.

If you don't bother what people think, go ahead, tel them that, but if it sounds kind'a rude, just don't allow toys to be taken out while your relatives are visiting.
