I buy most of my fancy dress from Ebay, just been to ebay and put 'little bo peep costume adult' and various adult sizes came up.

This is the nearest to the design you stipulated but only to size 8

There are a lot of fancy dress shops in Ebay.

Why don't you have one made? Then it'll fit the way you want. Truth is, you'll be surprised to find many people will do the work for about the same as getting one of those cheap-material costume sites.

It was a few years back, but I had a costume made for $40 + materials. Bring some pictures, etc., and they'll work something up.

Dressing up the boy as a princess will not make him gay, or a serial killer, or depressed as he gets older. He may be embarrassed by it but who doesn't have any embarrassment from their childhood? If this was the other way around and a girl wanted to dress up in as a prince nobody would say anything. Is dressing up as a princess his idea or yours? It sounds like it is yours. My advice would just ask him what he wants or take him down the costume isle and let him pick a "boy" costume.

Um... no. My advice is to just not wear a costume like this if you're a size 18.
I know big girls can be attractive, but sometimes when you dress too tarty it can come across as really tacky.
Try another costume... or better yet make your own!

If you really want to be bo peep, try this site:

Here is a link for you. It's not actually a Little Bo Peep costume, but it could definitely work as that. It does not look like it comes with the shepherd's staff, tho. There are quite a few outfits on this site that could probably work if you didn't like this one. But, be aware that this is site sells a lot of lingerie and there are some pics that aren't appropriate for younger eyes.

There are lots of websites that sell halloween costumes, and most have plus sizes. The storybook characters are pretty common, so it shouldn't be too hard to find.
