Constantly I hear bullshit of Pro this Anti that. This country was built on the foundation that we are all equal and different, and majority of good solutions are middle way solutions, not this all or nothing moron mentally. This country was built on ethics, which is becoming way to confused with morality. Anyone can claim morality, but it takes an intelligent mind to understand ethics.

Let's see, anti-gun law goes into Congress, bill fails, we are still pro-gun. Seems to me that is not a middle way solution, but a yes or no answer. Besides, I never mentioned Congress, but this country as a whole. EVERYONE is accountable in some way.

So far no one has even touch the question. Why don't you people learn to spell properly so I can understand what you are saying. Besides the fact that I said most solutions should be middle way, not all. Also, none of you obviously know ethics and should research it first before you answer this question. So things to research: Prima Facie, Golden Rule, Utilitarianism, Morality, etc.

Extremism in the defense of the Constitution is no vice.

When I consider things to be antithetical to the Constitution and the foundational philosophies of this country, I fail to see how compomising by agreeing to something less unconstitutional than what was proposed is good, wise or anything but moronic.

The Constitution is supposed to be a very hard and fast delineation of Federal government powers. Compromising on those limits undermines all the protections of our rights and freedoms. Period.

Hmmm, maybe I misunderstood what the Congress does. My understanding was that they bring up things to be passed into law. They then vote and if it is not passed as written, they debate the situation until a compromise is reached and the bill is passed. If they cannot reach an agreement, the bill fails. Sounds like reaching a middle ground to me.
