How do I find my bra size?

take a measuring tape and measure around your rib cage where the bra would go around. Write that down... that will be the "number" portion of your bra size.

now measure around your rib cage at nipple level.

subtract the first measurement from the second one, and round UP.

A cup = 1 inch difference,
B cup = 2 inch,
C cup = 3 inch,
D cup = 4 inch,
DD cup = 5 inch and so on

For instance, my band measurement is 38, and my measurement around the nipples is 42. 42-38 is 4... so I am a 38D.

Oh, and I have had those girls at a bra store measure me and tell me my size before - and they were way off. They said 40B. I tried on a 40B, and it was loose around the ribcage, and the cups were too small.

Measure around chest under breasts. Round up, add four if its an even number and five if it is an odd number. That is your band size.

Measure around breasts at nipples, round up. Subtract band size from this measurement.

1" is an A, 2" is a B, 3" is a C, etc.

Or get professionally sized at Nordstroms JCPenney or Sears (NOT victoria secret because they are notorious for sizing INcorrectly).

Also realize that size is only a guideline. Bras do not have standardized measurements so you could be a 38C in one bra and a 38DD in another bra (like me).

80% of women wear the wrong bra size. The best thing you can do is get measured at a lingerie store. They measure women all the time, so it's nothing to be embarrassed about.

Get measured at your nearest Victoria's secret or Herbergers..JC Penney's..etc.

Just ask to be measured, and ask for help finding a bra that fits you.
