Actually, none of the examples you quote are real mysteries! Elvis did die, there is no monster in Loch Ness and statistically no more ships and boats are lost in the Bermuda triangle than anywhere else!
But there are mysteries to be solved, very deep ones. One I am personally engaged with is Dark Matter. Is it really exotic non-Baryonic material, or just an excuse by cosmologists for the fact that their sums don't add up?
