I don't know, but you can be sure that God does not try and test us for his benefit, when things go wrong and God does not automatically step in and sort them, it is because there is something character building we need to learn from this. Fortunately for us, he cares more about our character development than our comfort. We wouldn't learn much about either ourselves or our relationship with him if everything were always easy. God's desire is for us to have a relationship with him and to look to him for help and comfort, no point praying to him to stop all the nasty stuff, but rather pray for strength, understanding, acceptance and wisdom and He WILL answer that prayer, you will get closer to Him and during the bad times, you will not feel so under pressure because you will know that He will not send anything your way which is beyond your endurance. Sorry to hear you're having such a rough time, I hope it gets better soon. God bless.

God doesn't test us...this is why Christians believe in Satan. Satan means adversary. Read the story of Job. Satan became annoyed that Job was so faithful to God so he went to God and said in essence: "Looka here God, of course he worships you, he's wealthy, got sons, good health, land, but if you give me the opportunity to bring him down a peg I will have him curse you to your face." Then God said, "Go ahead do your worst." And thus began the worst days of Job's life, even his friends told him to curse God and die but he hung tight. So in answer to your question, no God is not trying to test you.
In life you will have problems and you will have victories. It's all in how you take it. If you laugh at it perhaps it will feel better. If you pray perhaps faith will get you through it. If you complain about it perhaps you will experience every moment as sheer torture. This too shall pass. You have free will and it is your choice as to how you take it. There are people who have it far worse than you and remember these are the good ole days.

I don't think "test" is the best word for it. Mature you, teach you, strengthen you, love you, help you...........but not "test'. You need to look at these trying days you refer to and ask yourself.........."what could I have done differently?" "How can I avoid this stress/pain/sadness(etc) from happening again?" and most importantly......................"how am I better for having gone through this?" How about this thought......." I know I am never alone, I can ask total strangers for advice, and someone will care enough about me to take the time to offer loving advice to me" Every single thing happens for a reason, even death. It is an opportunity for us to grow and evolve into the peron that God has planned for us to be. Our children could never learn to save a penny if they never learned what it was like to lose one. We our His children, happiness is our "penny", if we were happy all the time........we would take it for granted right? Sometimes we have to have trying days to learn to appreciate all the goodness and joy in our lives that surround us. Seek out sadness......and you will find it, seek out joy, and it will surround you! Start with gratitude.

My theory (as a mere limited human )
is that God doesn't test us. God has always existed and always will, knows everything and that includes our hearts.
Having said that the 'pressure you are feeling, is perhaps
(I am using a biblical example, there are many other metaphors but this gives an example ...since you used 'God" and everything=)
The book of Job is all about this and how God DOES NOT test us...rather he allows Satan to test us. In Jobs case, God said go ahead Satan test him, I know his heart. I think it can be counted as a blessing when we go through times that spur our growth. It sounds as though this is happening to you? And the miracle is that you are seeing or sensing that it may in fact be an important time in your life.
The other take on it that comes to my mind is that you are in a open learning curve. Perhaps exploring ideas, constructs and confines of your own 'world view'. I think of them as established ways of perceiving. You are questioning "the way things are "
Yes you are testing yourself!
These stages are designed to teach us who we are and to bring us closer to awareness of what it means to be human, experimental, open, aware and free to explore personal uncharted territory.
The greatest healing with in you can come from objectively questioning your reality. To explore your impulses, reactions and temptations. Find out why you have them and who you really are based on what you decided. Actions are "who we are"

He may well be trying make you a stronger person. Maybe what you're going through will be needed to help someone else later in life, you never know. We shouldn't question God. Just ask Him to help you through it and show Him you're worthy of the effort! Keep your head up and persevere!

God allows us to be tested and tempted... it's called free will.
God hath not promised skies always blue, flower strewn pathways all our lives through
God hath not promised peace without pain, joy without sorrow, sun without rain
God hath not promised we shall not know, many a heartache many a woe
But God hath promised strength for our burdens, light from above, undying sympathy, undying love!

No, he's busy sorting out the problems at Spurs and a new cycle path in East Croydon.
Perhaps you think too much of yourself?

be strong - It will not always be tough.

I would say the fact that you're asking is good. So probably. If we believe in him he never puts more on our plate than we can handle so hang in there. Your steel is being tempered. Are you forged of steel or are you aluminum.
