So, I am due to get af tomorrow and this morning tested positive on a hpt (faint, but pink and definately there- my husband even confirmed...). I don't want to get excited since I haven't even missed my period yet. My question is, should I call my doc now to get it confirmed, or wait until Monday?

with all three of my babies after i had tested positive at home with a urine test, they didn't retest me at all. HCG is a very sensitive hormone and if it shows up on a urine test the doctor said it would definately show positive on a blood test since they are more sensitive. i did retest at home with a second test bought at a different location with each of my children. they were positive too! congratulations and waiting until monday is fine.

I got my bfp on a Sunday so called first thing Monday(af due date) morning. She had me go in right away for a blood test to confirm and had an appointment two weeks later.
I would go ahead and call today.

I do not know if it is actual or no longer however that is the rumor.

You can call now or wait until monday it is up to you....they will just give you another pregnancy test to confirm that you are pregnant and go over some family history!!! Piece of cake!!!

I would go ahead and call today. It would be agony to have to wait all weekend for confirmation. Congrats and Happy and Healthy Nine Months!

I would definately call you're dr right away so u can confirm it.CONGRATS hopefully i'll get a BFP my last pg i got a BFP 1 before my period.

I would call him today and set an appointment for next week. Keep testing through the weekend! If it lines get darker then you will have your first prenatal doctors appointment!

I would go ahead and call, no since in waiting, they like you to come in early just to make sure everything is going alright, good luck and congrats

I'd go ahead and call now. if your Dr is like any other, you may not get an appt till next wk anyway. Then if you get your period, you could always cancel

CALL TODAY SO THEY CAN SCHEDULE YOU TO COME IN. TAKE ANOTHER TEST THIS WEEKEND IF THEY DON'T GET YOU IN UNTIL NEXT WEEK. IT WILL HELP GIVE YOU PEACE OF MIND UNTIL YOUR APPOINTMENT. CONGRATS AND GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!
