what is the reason you want to stop watching porn? with masturbating, no one gets hurt! if you are concerned about the effects of that career choice is having on the women's lives than porn inside your head is a great option! fantasies are better anyways, because you have complete control of the story line. and you can always read erotica. good for you. you are not a hypocrite!

What you do is you stop watching porn and masturbate happily, secure in the knowledge that it's a perfectly natural, normal thing to do.

So? Porn is relatively new, in regarding to its availability to the sexually active male. Until the internet, in the early 90's, online porn did not exist, and magazines were few and far between before then. So a guy's imagination is what has gotten mankind through the past million years or so in getting off anyway. Wake up, do you not realize that very very few guys use porn or view porn, or even have access to it?

Masturbation is natural. You are not a hypocrite for doing it, unless you're preaching that it's wrong, in which case you should stop. If you feel like pornography is distasteful or morally wrong, then stop watching it. But my opinion on porn is as long as you don't force anyone to watch it, if it makes them uncomfortable, watch it, especially if it's a masturbation ritual. Unless you're quitting because of a relationship, in which case you should be talking to your partner, about what he/she is comfortable with, why the sudden change? In any case, if this is, in fact, a reaction to a new relationship, consult your partner.

The Bible would say it's a sin. That made me laugh out loud.
I never watch porn alone, it's a little embarassing and there's always this fear of getting caught. The chances of getting caught are diminished(no one can find porn on my pc since I don't have any).My imagination is quite rich and satisfactory,if you know what I mean.

Sexual fantasies are what make life worth living and sex more fun! Even married people have fantasies while they're having sex with each other. It's normal, don't worry about it. Enjoy.

Why stop watching porn? I personally don't see anything wrong with porn, but I can understand how it might bug others or be embarrassing. I also feel that sexual fantasies are just porn inside your head, and I seriously doubt that there's a person out there that doesn't have sexual fantasies. The urge for sex is hormonal driven and designed to make us want to procreate and produce offspring. Therefore, fantasies are natural and porn is just visual manifestation of fantasies.
More specifically though: If you don't want to watch porn for moral or embarrassment issues, then stick to your fantasies. Don't bother trying to get rid of the fantasies, they won't go away. If you feel guilty about your fantasies, try to focus them on your signifigant other, if you have one. If my wife isn't home and I'm "in the mood" I'll think about her. There's nothing wrong with fantasizing about your spouse!

Stop watching the porn !
If you have the desire to masturbate very often you could have symptoms of a compulsive disorder---there are medicines for obsessive/compulsive disorders.
