Have you ever been arrested or pulled over by the cops? What was it for?
I got dragged to the police station back in high school for breaking cerfew. Yeah, I'm a dork. I'm OK with that.

I have been arrested 8 or 9 times and almost arrested 12 or 15 times. Most of the close calls were for disrespecting them. Each time they searched me hoping to find drugs or a weapon to charge on.

Well...yes, I was 8 months pregnant and did a really stupid thing for my husband. I let him put an item in my purse, who would bust a pregnant woman ? Want to know how stupid it was? We stole a package of knife blades that cost a whopping 99 cents. He had over $200.00 in his wallet. Since it was caught on camera they charged both of us for shoplifting and conspiracy, which is a class 1 felony. We spent about 4 hours in jail. My ex took the blame, thank God, and he had to pay a fine of $175.00 and 200 hours of community service. That was 28 years ago. When I heard those doors go clank, I vowed never to be there again. So far so good!!! Yes, I have been pulled over by the cops, I was doing 110mph on highway 101, the cop was so nice to me, he wrote me up for doing 65 in a 55 zone, there are some good guys out there still. So I paid my ticket with a BIG smile on my face. They say that confession is good for the soul, so thanks for letting me share. LOL

I went to jail for almost 2 weeks.
My ex-husband has hit me, punch me in the head til i saw stars, tried to strangle me several times and tried to rape me 2 times. He is 6'3 and muscular. I am 5'4 and not to strong.
So one day i decided to fight back. He got violent with me for the last time. I picked up a fat 2 x 4 heavy board. I kept telling him to leave me alone or i would hit him. He didnt listen so i hit him over the head with it. Blood went everywhere. All over the walls. He went running into the bathroom like a baby. One of the neighbors called the police because the next thing i heard was a knock at the door and they arrested me.
I promised myself after that i will never defend myself again. So he just continued to choke me and hit me and there was nothing i could do. The restraining order i had never even worked real good. he would keep coming back. I tried leaving him. It just didnt work. He waited for me outside all the time
How can he keep hitting me and only go to jail for the weekend and get out. When i went it would have been for several months if my mother didnt bail me out.

I've been pulled over several times for whatever. Only got one ticket for speeding - and, yeah, I deserved it.
But - I did get an appearance ticket for drinking in public at the St. Patrick's Day parade in NYC two years ago... oh the shame... the shame...

Back in high school I was arrested for arm robbery of a neighborhood tavern,assault and battery of a adult,suspicion of assassination attempt of a student,attempted burglary of a grocery store storage shed etc.on and on and on.

Yup when I was 15 I got arrested for stealing make-up from wal-mart..I was dragged thru the store in hand cuffs..it was so embarrassing..needless to say..i never stole again...expect that one time...but seriously..ya...I was so hardcore stealing from good ole wally world..lol..looking back on it now..it's a little sad..and kind of funny....but a serious lesson was learned....
