Baggy pants that show boxer shorts or thongs would be illegal under a proposed amendment to Atlanta's indecency laws.
Just saw this news clip, I like the idea myself, as most of those I see are bordering on indecency!
Who wants to see someone's underware all the time, and how in the world can wearing your pants like that be comfortable?
Just asking for your thoughts.

First of all, I don't care for the look myself, I do not find it attractive no matter how good looking the guy is. To me it looks sloppy, and just like you don't care what you look like.
Secondly, and I am sorry if I offend anyone, but it reminds me of gang attire, and that I am against. And yes, I know that all people who dress like this are not in gangs.
But why don't people care more about what they look like?
However, it should not be up to a city, or state to ban this type of dress, anymore than they should be able to tell how how to wear your hair, what shoes to buy, etc.
So for those of us who do not like it, I guess all I can say is "oh well", for those of you who do, "don't you get tired of holding your crotch all day to keep the pants up?"

ok it was all ready outlawed in Delcambre and a couple other places. They look horrible, and I wish that people would stop wearing them.
But in the same respect, the city has no right to implicate such a strict dress code on its occupants. I feel that, although some may consider it indecent, it really isnt. You see more of a lot of people when theyre wearing a swimsuit, or a pair of low rise jeans! Its ridiculous that a city like Atlanta would take such a drastic and unnecessary step towards taking away simple civil rights.
I am by noe means defending this fashion faux pas, but it really wouldnt be fair. Now, I think it would be perfectly fine if businesses decided they would not allow in people with baggy pants. That is acceptable as they have the right to refuse service to whomever they choose. But a city-wide ban is ridiculous, the law enforcers have much more practical things to worry about then a silly dress code.

baggy pants are not the real problem, it's they way they hang on the body. And in order to keep them from falling down around the ankles, they are holding them by the crouch. See ing these guys walking around holding their crouches all the time is sickening, I rather the pants just go on and fall down, then they can step out of them and keep on walking.

Thats not fair!
If that is how they want wear them THEN LET THEM BE! Clothes doesnt make a person,clothes doesnt say if they have a job or not!
If you band baggy pants then lets band low riders or tight jeans because i sure be seeing ppl with their underwear showing in that!
Lets band low cut tops because i be seeing things that shouldnt be!
Lets band tattoos and piercings because what you are judging is what is on the outside!
Lets band SKINNY JEANS because i know lots of woman do not look right in those things YUCK!
You know what lets band hand bags because hate to carry them and i hate when i see oversized ones!

i think of it incredibly is for his or her own risk-free practices. final week, my kinfolk & I laughed our butts off watching this guy with the saggy pants attempt to run for the time of 5 lanes of site visitors. 0.5 way for the time of his pants dropped around his ankles and he fell flat on his face. i'm hoping his experience of "style" became into properly worth it. you should confess, they look ridiculous.

I don't like the look, but then I am not young, and not wearing my pants that way.
If they want to look like a slob, then who cares, it lowers my opinion of them thats for sure.

I like the law. When I see those pants, I see a person who cannot possibly have a job, because you wouldn't be able to work like that. Therefore that person is either stealing, or cheating on welfare.
Do you know anyone who dresses like that, who has a job?

I think they should prosecute a person for wearing their pants down to their knees. It is just plain white trashy looking. Why they are that why not band wife beaters too. Come on society get with it.
