Is this in your "normal duties" at this position? If this is beyond the scope of your job, it might be a good idea to point out to your boss that you are not his personal secretary.

I am confused... But that seems to happen a lot.
I'm thinking a tea bag is to make tea. A drink. I am obviously wrong... I am glad I haven't asked for one!
edit... Thanks Hank! Got it! Give her the tea bag, it might make your day a little better... I would think?

Some of these answers are the best examples of unintentional humor I've seen!
Wouldn't you give a teabag to a stranger, Hank? I know I would!

Tea is a great way to start your day. I'm sure your boss needs some energy to keep going. I would suggest Earl Grey.

sometimes a tea bag is just a tea bag,
sometimes a tossed salad is just a tossed salad,
sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.
