I hope not!!!!

Yes, I got it to prevent pregnancy, but I've heard that other people have gotten pregnant while using it. I'm married with 3 kids, and I do NOT want any more. I would get my tubes tied, but my dr said I was too young.
Thanks.

I also am using Mirena IUD.

It is very unlikely that you will get pregnant. All contraceptives do not guarantee 100% effectiveness but it is VERY close to 100%. Just make sure that the IUD string is still there before intercourse. The IUD is small and there might be a chance it might be dislodged without you knowing.

Regarding menstruation, I have regular cycles but the quantity is significantly decreased compared to my pre-IUD days.

you got the Mirena to prevent pregnancy, didn't you? Have a little faith in your decision.
