OMGoodness! I am SO mad that they asked Tre to pack his knives. I know that the executive chef bears a lot of the responisbility in a kitchen, but seriously. His dishes were not the only ones the judges didn't like. They didn't care for Casey's either and betwixt the two, I think Tre has WAY more talent than her. She should have been sent home.
I don't know if they're playing faves or not. They really don't seem like they like anyone this season.
I agree. The deodorant man didn't do a great job at the front of the house on his second try either...he should have been on the chopping block but it seems as thought he wasn't.

Actually, I think they've gotten better at basing decision on that one individual challenge. I think Trey was one of the best chefs there, but he messed up on this one. He made a lot of the food and it wasn't good. I actually thought it was going to go the other way -- make someone else their scapegoat because they would want to keep Trey. In the past they would have.
I don't think it's fair to judge someone on their past performances because the early contestants don't get that privilege. Someone messes up on the first challenge, they go home. Someone messes up on the 7th challenge, they should go home too. If you're not going to do that, let everyone stay for the whole thing and then decide a winner at the end.

Well, I think it came down to leadership and Tre did fail at that. Personally I think Casey should have gone. Right now I think she is the worst chef that is left out of the bunch that is on there.

In the restaurant business, you only get 1 chance. If someone comes in and you screw up and your food sucks, that person is not coming back. this is why the judges judge on what happens on that particular night. They don't judge the contestants cumulatively. You can't do that. Not with the restaurant industry.
