The Australians have been coming up with some very nice Rieslings over the last decade or so.
Like you I like a dry white. Like Goldwing, I get stinking after just one glass, so I mostly decline except for a half a glass for toasts.

Oh, I have a real wine pallet! I drink the wine that is handed me at parties, try hard to disguise the look on my face when I sip it, smile a lot, and decline the 2nd glass on the grounds that I am a cheap drunk and I am driving. (two drinks of anything makes me reel and rock). Therefore, I suppose my favorite wine is whatever the guests bring with them! With my eyes closed, I doubt that I could tell you red or white! So much for my tastes.

There are so many good ones I cant say I have a special one. I have found a lot of good ones from Australia around $25 a bottle.
