This is in reference to the Debate in Iowa this past Sunday 8-19-07 (not sure if it was a rerun) where the vast majority of the questions where asked and answered toward the BIG 3: Clinton, Obama, & Edwards. Is this a bias by the media or just exactly how the career politicans want the media to project it to the public? As a young American I really consider the career politicans as being out of touch with "real" Americans and that they would rather make choices on things that will futher enhance their time in office rather than voting or saying something that really needs a voice. Whats your feed back.....?

They do get equal time in the Presidential debates - Iowa was a primary debate. Primaries are survival of the fittest . . .

There is no established forum for presidential debates. Someone, usually the media, proposes the idea and then tons of negotiating goes on behind the scenes with the campaigns. If you make it to fair for the little guys the big guys wont show up thus making it "illegitimate". You will never have a presidential debate without a bunch of preconditions and caveats. Debates are for the modern voter who want soundbites. Truly informed voters will do their own research.

I don't know how but I would certainly support that.

The media has far too much influence in the U.S. - especially politically.
