I've noticed that even simple quote and quote is already tagged as racist. Everything is suspected as being racist. Gosh!

Yes. I'm getting fed up with some people finding something racist to complain about, no matter what the topic.

I'm a racist. I must be, as I have certain beliefs regarding various issues.

I would not want a daughter of mine to marry a muslim from Iraq. I would not want a son of mine to marry a Zulu girl (dunno what their religion is!) from South Africa. I wouldn't want a sisterof mine to marry a Tamil girl from Sri lanka. I wouldn't want a brother of mine to marry a hindu girl from India.

I don't think those type of mixed marriages ever really work out. By expressing my opposition in such a way I'm generally branded as a racist.

If so - so be it.

From my point of view, the excellent thank you to strengthen this occasion is the comparable way you're able to in case you have been discussing it with somebody of your guy or woman race. To physique of suggestions it in yet in any different case shows which you're feeling there's a distinction between the two certainly one of you. you mustn't sense awkward or could desire to stifle your opinion merely by way of fact somebody is of a different race (needless to say, do no longer bypass off on a racist rant nevertheless!). remember nevertheless that some places of work do no longer want those subjects aired on company time or grounds, because it could desire to bring about criminal subjects if the incorrect human beings hear.

Yeah, I think political correctness has become far too prevalent. There is obvious racism, but noting a distinction between races or cultures shouldn't be frowned upon. People want to be acknowledged for their race, yet don't want anything that comes along with it. Until the concept of race is abolished, there will be "racism."

Yep. The politically correct bureaucrats need some "common" sense. I'm not white but even I find it difficult to now use black or white or whatever colour when describing someones colourful background. ( don't ususally though)

I'm scared I'm gonna offend someone the same colour as me.

I've used the terms white bread, brown bread, dark chocolate, dairy milk and white chocolate. My friends understand and we're not all the same colour. I don't say it to be offensive but just descriptive. I would call my skin colour dairy milk in winter and dark chocolate in summer.

Also, I do not use extremely derogatory words like n****r, c**n, b**ng, sl*nt e*es etc.

The best thing to do instead of looking at what you think others are doing wrong is to look inside yourself and find where your attitudes and biases are. To try to understand what would lead someone to suspect or tag something as racist. Try to understand where they are coming from.

Unfortunately not everything.

It seems that one can still be as derogatory as one wishes towards white guys from the southern United States without fear of being called racist.

Why, because people don't want to admit their culpability? Call me racist - I don't care. Maybe I have something to learn. No one is perfect and everyone can improve their awareness.

I think it's lazy to simply deny that racism exists.

We're too sensitive period. I don't know when Americans became so thin-skinned and so obsessed with everyones emotional well-being that we can't talk about anything honestly or engage in any activities that may leave someone out and make them feel bad.
