I'm sorry you feel so bad about the natural growth of hair around your vagina. It's a sign of physical maturity, in other words, you're a woman now! Congratulations!
As for shaving your vulva [not your vagina - that's inside your body] bear in mind that the hair will immediately grow back no matter what method you use. If you think guys will find it unattractive, the truth is they mostly find it a turn-on!
If you want to you can trim the longest hairs with sharp scissors - CAREFULLY! Some women have a lot more hair than others. They shave the tops of their legs so it doesn't show under a bathing costume.

I would think you're a little young to start that- but if it's something that really bothers you then I don't see anything overtly wrong with it.
Yes you can shave your pubic region with just a regular razor however be prepared- you will likely have razor burn and some itching afterwards because the skin is so sensitive in that area.
Waxing however is quicker- easier- and lasts longer. In my area (Chicagoland) a bikini wax can run from 30-75 dollars depending on where you go. Once the hair is removed it won't grow back in for several weeks- when it does you won't have the same itching or sensitivity you may have experienced had you removed the hair with a razor.
Best wishes...

I do think your a little to young, but its up to you, if your shaving the first time use these steps, wet the area with warm water than use a really good shaving cream (soap clogs the razor up, i think) shave with the hair not against it to prevent razor bumps and irritation, clean the area with water and soap and dry. Try putting some powder down there just to keep it from itching and being irritated. Let me know if this helps !!

If you are old enough to have hair down there, you are old enough to shave it, I'd say. You're right, it's cooler and cleaner. By the way, nobody grows hair in their vagina, but only on the outside of the body, which is called the vulva. I shave using soap (Dove bar is creamy and good for this) rather than shaving cream.
P.S. sabrinaelder, right above me, wrote 'public area' but I am sure she meant to say 'pubic area'. Grin.

If it bugs you, then shave it. I've shaved mine for years. I love not having to worry about bloody hair when Aunt Flo comes.
I just use a razor, water, and a little soap. Just be careful when shaving!

You can shave your pubic hair around the vulva. The vulva is the entire female genital area. Just use a sharp, new razor and shaving cream, CAREFULLY.
Vagina (note spelling) is the hole and canal specifically leading to your reproductive organs. You shouldn't be growing hair there.
15 is a fine age, just make sure you're doing it for yourself and not some stupid boy who you want to "hook up" with.

Just the truth for what it is worth, there is hair growing in that region for a reason. It wicks moisture away from your genitals so you are less prone to yeast and bacterial infections. It also prevents urinary tract infections the same way, by wicking away moisture from sweat etc. When you shave your pubic hair, you risk, ingrown hair, you risk cuts and resulting infections, and the itch when the stubble grows back is intensely uncomfortable. I know you will ultimately do whatever you want, but let me urge you to reconsider and do what is natural and healthy.

yes you can shave down there. you should probably keep a little(until you really get the hang of it), you should always shave the way your hair the way it grows to help prevent shave bumps( which really itch) shave from out to in ( thigh to vigina) here is a site that will help you figure everthing out. hope it helps. oh yeah if you do it rub lotion on it(not between the lips though) or it will itch.

yes, you are little young, but, you can shave in your public area. You have to be careful when you shaving. You could get burn, cuts and resulting infections. Wax are better way than shaving. Might be expensive having wax done. I think; your misspell the word, vagina.

I think I was like 17 when I started shavin' my pubic hair...Then like once I graduated 4rm HS, I started shavin' it ALL completely.....Man, it feels smooth and it looks good...lolz!!! I trimmed my husband's twice and the last time that we did it, it looks like it hasn't grown & I like that......I shave it w/ a regular shaver.....I use the douche gels that I get free when I buy my perfumes...I get the douche gel, lotion, & perfume....If I run out of the gel, I use soap or shampoo....Krazy, but I do it & have no complaints....hehehe..........
If u ready, they go 4 it......
