I think I'd be lying if I said I didn't to some degree. I'd be willing to bet everybody on here does, otherwise why would they be answering questions? If they didn't care what others thought, they'd stay home, not show up for work or school, and only do what they wanted to.
If you don't care what others think of you, then keep your shades open and walk around naked; go to the mailbox naked. You also shouldn't care if you got arrested because you don't care what the police think.

I try not to worry about it much, but you know, I still find myself getting out of the car and fixing my clothes or looking in the mirror or rather window to make sure everything is cool ~ all these types of moments I'm sure will just keep adding up ~ I guess, I would not be honest if I said I didn't care. Nonetheless, I don't want people to dislike me and I really try hard to remind myself that I don't hate anyone, even those that would do worse to me. I think that as long as we lead by example, and are courteous, and have good intentions, and ultimately just feel better ~ feel more loved and thus, love more ~ by caring about what people think about us then it is not only a good thing, but, a necessary one =)

If anyone said no, they ll be lying. Seriously, only a robot wld not care coz its void of feelings and emotions. The level of extreme differs from individual of coz. If no one cares what others think of them, there ll be no hurt, anger and pain in this world. Just be honest and realistic.
I tried not to care, I tried not to let them upset me so much. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt. ;)

Why bother. All that matters is if your are okay with yoruself. I feel really aweful for those who need the approval of others to keep them content. I am more then happy with me right now and I will never need the acceptance of others to keep me this way.

I've been fighting the perceptions of others my whole life. I'm finding peace not worrying about what they think so much.

To a degree, yes. I doubt that anybody welcomes being generally disliked. But beyond that, your opinion of me is none of my business.

Why would I care what other people think of me.......... no one is that important to make you feel down about yourself..... so screw them and what they think!
