The NAACP says he's being treated unfairly. WAH! I don't care who he is, or how good he plays sports, he's a monster who has no regard for innocent animals and condones the torture of animals for financial gain. As much money he has made in football, there's no excuse for what he did!

I am with you....this has NOTHING to do with "color"! Why the NAACP has got there nose stuck in it is ridiculous! What he did,he should be ashamed. And for all his supporters of him,WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!

I don't know if that's the case. I don't blame him for feeling like he hasn't been getting the roughing calls though. I think Reid should Wildcat the offense a little more, and add a few more draws and screens to get the pressure off him. Reid is doing what Mack Brown did with Vince Young at first. When Mack decided to let Vince play to his strengths (letting him run more instead of demanding a pocket passer), things worked out. I think Reid should consider turning Vick's legs loose every now and then, too. Also, where's that vaunted Eagle D everyone was talking about 4 weeks ago? When that Dream Team D backfield gives up 4 TD passes a game, your QB's legs aren't going to get you back in the game. It's the proverbial yin/yang of the NFL.

I'm black and the NAACP is just being stupid. Michael Vick is a less-than-nothing monster and, in my opinion, no amount of punishment is "fair" for what he's done. I'm sorry but I HATE it when the NAACP stands up for people in my race who are clearly in the wrong. How about we as black people take some responsibility for our actions, say, "OK, I was wrong" and stop calling RACISM RACISM every time a white person is assigned to discipline us because it's their job to disipline ANYONE of ANY COLOR that has broken the law.

Thank you! The NAACP has no business getting involved in this mess. No one attacked Vick for being black, they attacked him for acting cruel and inhumane towards innocent animals. And you're absolutely right: there is no excuse for his actions regardless of his celebrity status.

I agree with bongernet's answer!! If Michael Vick had been a white person who did what he did, the NAACP would be wanting his head on a silver platter.

I agree. Race has nothing to do with this issue. The NAACP should stay out of it and not make this a RACE issue. Good luck. 2D

drownings, hangings, and fights till the death and this is what the NAACP is sticking up for... The NAACP also tried to get huckleberry fin banned claiming it was racist because it contained the "n" word

Amen. The man RAN a dog fighting ring and actively tortured and killed dogs.

Its not like he was caught WATCHING a dog fight!!!! But then again, the NAACP rewards pedophiles like R. Kelly!!!!

The founding members are rolling in their graves right now.
