This statement is what i came up when i was staring at the stars, and the ceiling of my room:

Life is not a privilege or a predicament. It is a choice.

Just thoughts on my thought. :)

P.S. Please don't berate me with insults that doesn't really count on the statement! I accept negative comments, but not irrelevant insults.

I don't agree completely. Some people are left with not much choices. Some people are born in a good environment and good parents. Our characters are much determined by our childhood and when you're a child, you are not mature enough to be with the right choice. We cannot also change our DNA, where much of our traits physical, mental, and emotional are embedded.

Also, a good judgment is a gift. Not many people are genetically endowed with such. So definitely some don't have much choices, while others find it easy.

No, I tend not to agree. We don't choose to be born. Yes we do make choices in life but I feel life is definitely a priviledge. We should be thankful for every day that we can once again open our eyes and face a new day. From there you make your choices about what your life consists of. I don't feel life is a predicament, though.

I think life is a privilege. It's a privilege that I was I am alive that is why I should take care of my life so i don't lose it.

If we say that life is a choice then we are saying that those who are not born chose not to be born. We make choices through life but life it's self is a privilege. We should be grateful we are alive.

Life is a matter of choice. If a person choose to be happy then he could be happy. If one is unhappy he can make a choice to be happy. Life is what you are. You are the captain of your soul and the master of your own life. You have all the choices to make it at its best to attain the real happiness in life.

I like your thought. I think we (as a generation with all of our spoils) have gotten to used to thinking that life is a privlege. However, it is all about choices and how we shape our lives out of the choices we have made. Good thought!

Of course I agree. Everything one does in life is a choice. You choose who to be, what to do, who to like, and so on. So yes, life is a choice, and i choose to live.

I read a quote once that said." life is about choices, from getting up in the morning to going to bed at night... it is all choices"

Agree. Winners make the right choices, losers the wrong ones.

How you live your life is a choice. Of course you have the choice to commit suicide, but that's not the fundamental here.
