Has anyone got an unusual name?
If you have what is it, do you like it and would you rather have a more common name or an unusual one?

My daughters have unusual names Everest Michelle (Evie) and Lylia Shalyn (Lily) My name is Holly which isn't really unusual but I really enjoyed being the only one in school growing up not like the multiple Heathers and Jessicas

I like unusual names, it gives you a sense of individuality. My name is Corey, (im a girl), and the way its spelled always gets the question 'boy or girl?' (if not face to face) i like having a unique name. :]

People tell me i dont have a unique name, so thats up to you

My whole family has unusual names. And it sucks basically. The people who said their names above have no idea what unusual is if they think thats weird. Here's a list of my family's names:
Marin (Mah-ren)
Matthias (Muh-tee-uhs)
Torsten (Tor-sten)
Lars (Larsssss not Larz)
Siri (See-ree)
Solveigh (Sol-vay)
Karl (Carl)
Lena (Lee-nah)
Sastrugi (Suh-stroo-gee)
Fritzi (Frit-zee)
Schotzi (Shot-zee)

Please, don't give your baby a name like that. I'm all for names like Kaylee Lauren because people can say that, and even though its uncommon, its possible to pernounce. My brother and I had teachers that pernounced my name wrongly all year, and every time you see them in the hallway.

Saraia (Sar-eye-ah)
My parents liked the name Sara, but they wanted to change it up a little! So they added -ia.
Most people call me Sari... :) I like my name, because no one else really has it, but it has a 'common' nickname, so I never felt weird about it!

my first name is allyne, pronounced like...hmmm...uh-lin? like if there was a product called "lynn" you would ask for "a lynn please"....its celtic, meaning "brilliant star".
i do like it, its just a pain trying to make people pronounce it. next to impossible on here, but i never understood why people couldn't say it after hearing it. i think the spelling throws people off. its funny now, my boyfriend's name if vaughan and people always say it "vawfin" or "vawgin", and everyone says we should just name a pron shop after ourselves...but yeah, i like it, fine.
